Deborah “Deb” Reierson, 65, of Grand Forks, ND passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home in Grand Forks.

Deborah Jean Fanfulik was born December 11, 1954 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of George and Lillian (Berard) Fanfulik. She was raised in St. Hilaire, MN and in 1973 graduated from Thief River Falls High School in Thief River Falls, MN. Deb also graduated from Northland Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN. Deb married Doug Reierson on August 3, 1985 in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Doug and Deb moved to Grand Forks and Deb graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. Deb was employed as the Finance Director of the United Way in Grand Forks and was the accountant for the family business, Building Systems Corporation.

Deb was devoted to her Catholic faith and was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks. Following the flood of 1997, she volunteered much time and effort in rebuilding the playground of Holy Family-St. Mary’s Catholic School. She loved reading with her grandson, Mason. She enjoyed playing cards, going to craft shows and family vacations. Her family always came first.

She is survived by her husband, Doug; her mother, Lillian Fanfulik, Thief River Falls, MN; her daughters, Kayla (Taylor) Parisien and Amanda (Mitch Nerby) Reierson, both of Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Mike (Paula) Fanfulik, St. Hilaire, MN, Kevin (Sherri) Fanfulik, Columbus, Ohio; sister, Valerie Thompson, Grand Forks, ND and her grandson, Mason Schurman.

She was preceded in death by her father, George; a brother, Donald “Butch” Fanfulik; a sister, Margaret Ann Bergh; and a brother-in-law, Scott Swygman.
