A Thief River Falls man was struck by a sport utility vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Thief River Falls.
Christopher Dean Anderson, 44, suffered unknown injuries, according to the Thief River Falls Police Department.
He was transported by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls. At the time of the accident, Anderson was walking at the intersection of Main Avenue and Third Street.
According to the report, he was then struck by a 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by Nancy J. Johnston of Thief River Falls. Johnston was turning east onto Third Street at the time.
She told police that she didn’t see Anderson since her view was obstructed by a light pole.
Police were dispatched to the scene at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday.
